Le Premier meurtre (The First Murder)- Léon Bazille Perrault
A very impressive painting I saw in Poitiers of Cain and Abel - two brothers. According to the Bible, Cain killed Abel, thus committing humanity’s first murder, and was cursed to live forever (I hope I’m getting my Bible history right). I just love how primordial this is, and dramatic at the same time; it seems to happen out of time and out of place, just this conflict between two people, back before the world really existed, when the background is nothing but darkness, but which reflects upon humanity since then.
Bonus points if you can relate that to Supernatural.

I like the primordial element too. Can “primordial” count as an emotion? It sure feels like it sometimes.
